Umeda and Namba are also reachable with a transfer at Taisho Sta — convenient for getting around. 🌸Neighborhood & culture Three minutes from the door is coco a char age-yaki pan Zo no Mimi Sakuragawa — fried-baked bread, crisp outside, butter or red bean inside. Locals grab one and eat it as they walk. A few minutes on, the breeze comes off the Kizu River. At dusk the water turns orange, and people stroll, walk their dogs, or cycle home from school, all at an easy pace. This is a part of Osaka where people actually live. At 7 a.m., office workers buy coffee at the 7-Eleven Osaka Sachimachi 3-chome. At noon, the deli counter at AEON Osaka Dome City lays out fresh-fried croquettes and kushikatsu, and locals pick out dinner.
